And I will that the sum of four thousand pounds shall be laid out in the purchase of Lands of Inheritance to be settled in Trust as to one fourth part of the rents and profits I will shall be for ever applied for and towards the maintenance of a School Master to teach in the said School. And the remainder of the rents and profits of the lands to be purchased I will the same shall be applied forever for the maintenance and as a provision for a Minister of the Church of England to read divine service and preach in the said Church or Chapel once on every Sunday at the least forever.

And I will that the sum of five hundred pounds shall be laid out in the purchase of Lands of Inheritance to be settled in Trust that the rents, issues and profits of the land shall be applied for repairing the said Church and School house for ever.

I will that John Boorder junior alias Fermor and the heirs male of his body shall from time to time nominate and appoint a minister of the Church of England officiate in the new Church or Chapel I have ordered to be built and also nominate the School Master to my Charity School and also choose and nominate the poor children to be taught in the said School and shall also have the power from time to time to remove any School Master or poor Child or Children from the said School and appoint any other School Master or Children in the stead and place of such School Master or Child or Children displaced or removed. And in the case of the death of the said John Boorder junior alias Fermor without issue male of his body then I will that the nomination and appointment of the said Minister and School Master and the other powers and authorities to remove and displace the School Master and Children and nominate others from time to time in their stead or place shall be in the Minister and Majority of the freeholders of the said parish of Rotherfield for ever who shall be present in the Vestry of the said Church of Rotherfield and assembled on such motive as is usually given for parish business. Nonetheless I will that my Executors and the Survivors or Survivor of them shall have the nomination and power of appointing such Minister to the said Church and School Master to the said School from time to time during the ministry of the said John Boorder junior alias Fermor as occasion shall require.
